About Me
I am a qualified Physiotherapist based on the Gold Coast, with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of physical, developmental, neurological, and complex health conditions, including NDIS participants, Medicare patients, and private health clients.
MotionMenders is grounded in evidence-based assessment and treatment, ensuring every intervention reflects current best practice while being tailored to the individual in front of me. I take a solution-focused approach, working collaboratively with clients, families, and support networks to identify barriers, set meaningful goals, and build practical strategies that improve everyday function and quality of life.
My Clinical Experience
Over my career, I have developed broad clinical experience across a wide range of presentations, making MotionMenders one of the Gold Coast’s most versatile Physiotherapy providers for both NDIS, Medicare and Private Health clients:
- Paediatric and developmental Physiotherapy: Supporting children from early childhood through to adolescence with motor development, coordination, and functional movement goals
- Neurological rehabilitation and complex disability support: Including cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions
- Chronic and complex conditions
- Functional movement and mobility rehabilitation across all age groups and stages of life
- NDIS-funded supports and multidisciplinary care coordination: Experienced in working within NDIS plans, liaising with support coordinators, and contributing to team-based care
I am particularly passionate about working with individuals who require long-term, holistic, and adaptable care – where progress is built through consistency, trust, and functional outcomes rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Specialised Training & Qualifications
To deliver safe, effective, and inclusive Physiotherapy on the Gold Coast, I have completed additional specialised training including:
- Mental Health First Aid certified: Enabling a trauma-informed and psychologically safe approach to care across all client groups
- Level 1 Autism Swim certification – supporting safe, structured, and confidence-building aquatic participation for autistic individuals
- Dry Needling trained – supporting pain management, muscle release, and improved movement outcomes where clinically appropriate
- Assistive Technology (low and mid-cost) trained experienced in assessing, recommending, and implementing practical AT solutions to support independence, mobility, and daily function for NDIS participants and other clients
- Experience working with complex neurological conditions and disability presentations
- Ongoing commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
My Approach to Care
I believe Physiotherapy should be more than just exercises – it should be about helping people regain confidence, independence, and participation in the things that matter most.
Whether you are accessing care through the NDIS, Medicare or private health insurance, my approach remains the same:
- Individualised – every person receives a tailored assessment and treatment plan
- Evidence-based – grounded in current research and clinical best practice
- Goal-driven – focused on meaningful, functional outcomes
- Trauma-informed and person-centred – ensuring care is safe, respectful, and empowering
- Family and team-oriented – working closely with carers, support networks, and allied health professionals
I also understand that real progress happens when therapy is practical and integrated into everyday life. That’s why I focus on delivering strategies that translate beyond the clinic into home, school, work, and community environments on the Gold Coast.
What I Aim to Achieve
My goal as a Gold Coast Physiotherapist is straightforward:
To help people move better, feel stronger, and live with greater independence and confidence.
Whether I am supporting a child developing foundational motor skills through Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI), a Medicare patient managing a chronic condition, a private health client recovering from injury, or a NDIS participant living with a lifelong neurological condition. I am committed to delivering care that is meaningful, respectful, and results focused.
